In a few short months, 15 different organizations will receive a generous donation on behalf of Calgary and area REALTORS®. Which local causes will be celebrated? It’s up to you to decide.

As a CREB® member, you can be part of the decision-making process by nominating your favorite organization for a $10,000 grant with CREB® Charitable Foundation’s Investing in Hope program.

Nominees are categorized into one of the following areas:

• Enhancement:    Initiatives that enhance or provide sustainability in a community;
• Shelter: Programs    that support affordable housing and/or shelter-related initiatives; and
• Care: Initiatives    that provide support or access for individuals or families struggling to    meet basic needs.

The nomination period is now open, and will come to a close at 12 p.m., Sept. 30. Once nominations are processed, CREB® members can vote for their favourite organizations through an online voting process. Voting runs from 12 p.m., Oct. 8 to 12 p.m., Oct. 22.

This year, every vote counts as members will only have three total votes for the entire campaign. Friends of the Foundation receive double the voting power, or six total votes.
